Forster Tuncurry Beaches & Lakes

You’d be excused in thinking you were on a tropical island when you’re enjoying the beaches here – crystal blue water, white sand that SQUEAKS when you walk on it, great waves for the surfer & sheltered spots for the kids.
Forster Tuncurry beaches include:
Main Beach + Ocean Baths, Pebbly Beach, The Tanks, One Mile Beach, Burgess Beach, Seven Mile Beach in Forster & Nine Mile Beach in Tuncurry – just to name a few!
Travel south along the Lakes Way for 20 mins & you’ll continue to be wowed by paradise – Blueys Beach & Seal Rocks are hidden treasures.

You can tell by looking at the waterways here that marine life is a precious part of our culture. We’d like to share the experience with you, whether you’re a keen diver, surfer, water skier, boaty or like to fish – we’re sure you’ll enjoy your time within our waters.

Take your boat out and spend the day cruising our wonderful lake system. You can fish next to the oyster leases and strike a bream or flathead. If you don’t have a boat – not to worry! You can always hire a boat or even a party boat with its own BBQ on board to help keep your energy up!
